Hey I’m Courtney! I’m the solo dev behind Reality Break. I’ve wanted to make a sci-fi ARPG for years (seriously, decades), and I finally got the chance to pour my heart into this project. If you like what you see, let me know what you think—I’d love to hear your thoughts! Reality Break is a high-speed action RPG packed with deep systems, a crazy amount of customization, and a roguelite structure that you can completely mess with using the Rewrite mechanic. You play as a mercenary who suddenly gains the power to alter reality itself, which—surprise, surprise—puts a massive target on your back. Sinister forces are coming for you, and the universe itself seems to know your every move before you do. Can you outplay something that already knows how this ends? Everything in Reality Break can be rewritten. Upgrade your gear unlock godlike powers, and bend the game’s rules to fit your playstyle. Got an item that’s too big for your ship? Shrink it down! Running out of time on a mission? Double the clock! Wish that rare item was actually epic? Upgrade it—or go even higher. Think the game’s too easy? Crank up the difficulty for the better rewards. But be careful—rewriting reality always comes at a cost. Can you a balance risk and reward? Each time you reset your timeline, the world shifts in unexpected ways. You’ll earn Reality Points to unlock insane talents—like making expert challenges appear for extra loot, forcing ultra-rare Fate Affixes onto gear, carrying your favorite item into the next timeline, or even straight-up deleting low-quality loot. Every run a brings new surprises, tougher enemies and bigger opportunities to rewrite the world to your advantage.
Upgrade your ship, discover brokenly powerful abilities, and even tweak the game’s mechanics in real-time. Use the Analysis system to slowly unlock hidden perks in your gear—or just rewrite it to go faster. Unlock Set Bonuses by collecting the right loot, then rewrite that system so you can stack multiple sets at once. As you grow stronger the universe will take notice. The more you push your powers the more dangerous the threats become. How far are you willing to go before reality itself pushes back?
