After causing chaos across the huge fields of the Continent, the sword-wielding warrior Rance finally makes his way to the eastern nation of Nippon. With his loyal companion Sill traveling alongside him, Rance is hoping to relax, enjoy some hot springs, and have a good time. But obviously, things don’t stay peaceful for long. Somehow, Rance ends up becoming the ruler of one of Nippon’s feudal states, and instead of being satisfied with that, he decides he wants even more power.
Now Rance sets out on a massive journey to unite Nippon and take control of the entire country. You’ll follow his story while managing territories, armies, resources, and a bunch of unique heroes. The game mixes grand strategy with RPG gameplay, so you’ll constantly have to decide how you want to grow your domain, deal with the ongoing civil war, and handle the different clans fighting for control.
Every turn gives you important decisions to make. You can conquer nearby territories, strengthen your existing lands, develop your resources, or focus on building up your military.
