But here’s the twist—death isn’t the end! It’s all about strategy, skillful moves, and perfect timing to push further on your next run and bring balance back to the ancient ecosystem. You get to completely customize your build. Dual wield weapons, each with four upgrade paths to match your style. Also, you can learn Animal Abilities that get even stronger with branching upgrades, making you a total beast by the time you finish a run!
And the collectibles? There’s a ton! You’re collecting flower seeds, catching bugs, meeting fish, and making friends with forest animals to earn Favor. Then, you can expense that Favor in the shop to unlock new Weapons, Animal Abilities, Infusions, Relics and upgrades, adding even more Different type to your future runs. You can specialize your build by mixing Weapon Upgrades, Animal Abilities, Relics and Weapon Infusions to make something totally unique. Exploration is a huge part of the game too, with Metroidvania inspired secrets hidden all over the Ancient Forest.
