Gameplay-wise, Transience mixes smooth third-person stealth with the heavier feel of a first-person shooter. You can be a ghost in the walls, silently picking off targets, or you can go loud and tear through corridors. Or blend both styles. The game gives you a ton of freedom — stalk in the shadows, run and gun, or switch things up as you go. With customizable weapons and tons of tactical options, you’re basically the nightmare enemies hope they never meet.

Thanks to the NWS™ (New World Systems) tech, weapons in this world are insanely customizable. Attachments and parts can be swapped on the fly, letting you turn an SMG into an AR, or an AR into a DMR. You’ll find stashes hidden around missions with new attachments and weapons, and with 13 base guns, the amount of setups you can make is crazy.

The whole game takes place in New Houston, 2056 — a city twisted by war-time prosperity. Corporations practically run the government, digital currency is taking over, and advanced tech meant for the battlefield is leaking into everyday life. Everywhere you go, there’s propaganda, shady industries, and futuristic gadgets you can take advantage of. From tiny medical tools to quiet suppressors to magnetic subway lines — the whole city becomes your playground.

You’ll also be rocking the NOVASKIN™ Undersuit, built originally for soldiers overseas. It gives you tough armor, powered by N-caps, and uses a special non-Newtonian layer that hardens instantly on impact. Basically, it keeps you alive when things get messy. Plus, it comes with a whole set of tools — distraction gadgets, a flash pulse to blind enemies, and of course, night vision. Everything you need to survive the hunt.
