The Witch's Bakery is a cozy adventure RPG where you play as Lunne, a cheerful witch who moves to modern-day Paris to open her own bakery. But she’s not just good at baking bread. Lunne has a special kind of magic that lets her see into people's hearts and help them heal from emotional struggles. As you meet different characters and learn their stories, you’ll discover that sometimes a little magic and a fresh loaf of bread can make a huge difference.
Each day is split into three parts, and every phase gives you something different to do. During the daytime, you’ll run the bakery, serve customers, and use your magic to help people deal with their problems. In the evening, you can explore Paris, hang out with friends, build relationships, discover hidden secrets, and even enter the hearts of people who need extra help. At night, it’s time to relax, improve your magical abilities, decorate your bakery, and spend some peaceful time in your cozy atelier.
As you keep playing, you’ll earn experience, money, and fame while meeting new characters and helping them feel better. When the bakery closes, you can explore different districts of Paris, each with its own people, shops, and activities. Visit places like Le Quai des Bouquinistes, a famous spot in the 6th arrondissement known for its booksellers, vinyl records, posters, old magazines, and views of the beautiful Notre-Dame. You can also buy books to unlock new bread recipes and spend time getting to know the people around you.
Some people have emotions that are so deeply buried that normal magic isn't enough to help them. That's when Lunne enters their Heart Palace, a magical world where people's thoughts and feelings become real places and characters. Your job is to guide their personified emotions back to the Heart's Cradle and explore what’s really going on inside their minds. Along the way, you’ll uncover their deepest struggles and discover the special ingredient needed to bake bread that can help heal their hearts.
The game is being developed by Sunny Lab Games, an indie team of experienced developers from France who want to create hopeful stories filled with lovable characters, happy moments, and meaningful emotional journeys. The Witch's Bakery is their first game, and the team plans to share updates and development progress as production continues.
