Alright, Mistified is the first game from SpiceBound Studios, and it's a seriously tricky grid-based puzzle game that’ll have you scratching your head for hours. You’re stuck in this strange land, and your job is to guide these lost souls of creatures to a better place—or, you know, mess it up and send them straight to a bad end. Your success or failure decides their fate. There are over 150 puzzles to solve and each one is designed to really make you think. As you solve them you will unlock even harder challenges. The game takes place in this cool 2D world that is got a bit of a charming but eerie vibe, making you wanna stick around to see what’s next.
You’ll also get to mess around with this Giant Map, which comes with its own pet rabbit (yeah, a rabbit). You can manipulate the map and control the rabbit to help you get around the world. Also, you’ve got these sound mechanics where you use things like your footsteps to guide the creatures and keep them from getting hurt. Pretty unique, right? And when those creepy dark claws pop up, you can stomp ‘em down to clear the path. Feels satisfying when you get it right!
On top of that, you’ve got some cool handcrafted songs to vibe to as you play. The game has 5 different animals with their own behaviors, 3 types of logs (yep, logs), and a bunch of traps that want to mess you up but sometimes can actually help you out.
