Kakenuke★Seishun Sparking! is a romance visual novel from the Japanese game brand SAGA PLANETS that totally rocked it in Japan when it released, winning a bunch of awards for its art, music, and characters. You play as Yuu Tono, a second-year student at Kazami Academy, right at that sweet spot of youth and adolescence. But here’s the catch—Yuu’s all about his part-time job. Seriously, he’s like, “Who cares about youth? I’m too busy hustling!” He’s got this hyper-realistic vibe going on, balancing schoolwork while grinding away every day to make some cash.
Then you've got Hibiki, his childhood friend who’s not about to let him sit on the sidelines, and Riri, a classmate who looks up to him as her master. They both want Yuu to get involved in their clubs and shake things up a bit. Hibiki’s pushing him to join the "Activity Collective," or "AcTive," which is all about fun and living it up in school. On the flip side, Riri wants him to join the "Volunteer Collective" also known as "NegaTive," where the girls are all about making the world a better place. “Well, that’s pretty obvious,” one of them teases. “Get ready, Senpai. It’s time for you to enjoy your youth!” So, what kind of crazy “youth” adventures are in store for Yuu Tono? Get ready to find out!
