OVERVIEW OF AETHUS
You play as Maeve, a former mining engineer who used to work for this huge space corporation called ARC—the kind of company that literally drains entire planets just to make profit. Now she’s done with all that and trying to start her own life, taking control of a mining claim far away from their influence.
As you explore, you’ll come across the remains of a failed science expedition and a bunch of abandoned facilities. There’s clearly something shady going on, and Maeve slowly starts uncovering secrets that the корпos definitely didn’t want anyone to find. With just basic mining tools, stories from her grandad, and her little AI drone buddy, you’re trying to figure out what really happened—and what this strange new element is all about.
You can build your own mining base however you want using a modular system. Set up refining machines, crafting stations, and all that stuff to keep your operation running. Most of your time is spent going underground, mining resources using lasers, drills, and even explosives. There are tons of materials to collect, and you’ll use them to craft better gear and upgrade both your suit and your drone so you can go deeper and explore more dangerous areas.
