The game’s got this sick A.G.N.I.S. system (Allure, Grit, Nerd, Intuition, Strength), which basically means you can mold your character however you want. You can move stuff around the world to create new paths, climb over fences, or even handle locked doors your way—whether that’s hacking, lockpicking, smashing it down, or smooth-talking a guard to let you through.
When it comes to talking, your character is stats open up unique dialogue options. Want to dive into deep conversations? Go for it. Not feeling it? Skip the whole thing. Plus, the combat is super interactive throw a pipe at someone’s leg and watch them stumble, or pick up a chair and smash it over someone’s head. Your reputation in the game comes down to three traits: Insightful, Impetuous, and Altruistic. Your choices and actions build on one of these traits which opens up more dialogue options and changes how people treat you. You can go full stealth ninja mode, pouring your Skill Points into Stealth and Athletics, sneaking around faster and quieter, or you can become a straight-up combat beast by focusing on Grit and Strength. Not into fighting? No problem, put points into Allure and Intuition to outsmart your enemies and dodge confrontations.
The story? Humanity ditch Earth nearly a century ago after some destructive event made it Uninhabitable. They stumbled onto this new planet by accident and built the city of CORPUS EDAX. But now, the government here’s got strict rules—no one’s allowed to express their old cultural identities, and citizens are ranked from A to D based on how useful they are to the government.
You wake up in this high-tech city after a medically-induced coma, and now you’ve got a choice—get involved with a group fighting for justice called The Salvation, or carve out your own path to power. It’s up to you to shape the future of CORPUS EDAX, whether that’s helping your fellow citizens or looking out for number one. Your call.
