Feed the Deep is an addictive Lovecraftian roguelike that takes cues from classics like Dome Keeper and Spelunky. You’ll dive into a constantly shifting network of undersea caves, scavenging for resources you can use to upgrade and gear up. As you venture deeper you will have to handle dark, cramped spaces, scarce oxygen, and aggressive wildlife—all while trying to complete your mission to Feed the Deep.

This game is from Luke Muscat the guy behind Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. It’s got procedurally generated caves, so each dive is a fresh adventure. The soundtrack is by Cedar Jones the award-winning composer known for Jetpack Joyride and other hits, setting the perfect eerie mood for this deep-sea journey.

Feed the Deep is a solo project from me, Luke Muscat. After creating Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, I took on the ultimate game dev challenge: making a game all by myself. The game mixes Incentives from Dome Keeper and Spelunky with my own turn and ideas. I’ve been sharing the development journey on YouTube, so you can watch the game evolve from its early days to what it is now!

2. Hang tight for like 5 seconds, then tap on that green ‘download now’ button. Once it’s rolling, let it do its thing and chill till it’s done.
3. When Feed the Deep wraps up its download, right-click on the .zip file and hit “Extract to Feed the Deep” (but hey, you gotta have 7-Zip installed, snag it here if you don’t).
4. Next up, double-tap inside the Feed the Deep folder and fire up that exe application.
5. Time to rock and roll! Remember to launch the game as admin, and if you hit any snags with missing dll files, scout for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the goodies inside. Let the gaming begin!
