OVERVIEW OF STELLAR TACTICS
Stellar Tactics is basically a massive space RPG where you build your own squad of mercenaries and just go explore a huge universe. We’re talking thousands of star systems, tons of planets, and endless stuff to do. You can follow the story or just do your own thing — it’s completely up to you.
The combat is turn-based, especially when you’re on the ground. You’ll be fighting mutants, pirates, and all kinds of enemies, so you actually have to think about your moves instead of just spamming attacks. Every weapon and ability matters, and strategy is key if you wanna survive.
One of the best parts is the character system. There are no fixed classes, so you can build your squad however you want. There’s also a crazy amount of gear. You can find, craft, and upgrade weapons and equipment using different parts and tech, so you’re always improving your squad. Same goes for ships — there are like 40 different ones, and you can customize them for combat, mining, trading, or exploration.
Space gameplay is just as deep. You can mine asteroids, trade resources, scan planets, and even attack enemy ships. You can disable them, board them with your crew, and steal everything for profit, which is honestly pretty cool.
The universe itself feels alive too. You’ll come across old ruins, colonies, caves, and signs of past wars. There’s always something new to discover, and it doesn’t feel empty at all.
Story-wise, you play as a genetically engineered mercenary who wakes up after a disaster. The galaxy is in a bad state, with a dangerous disease spreading and different factions fighting for control. You’ll have to decide who to trust, or just stay independent and do jobs for money.
In the end, it’s all about freedom. You can chase the main goal of stopping the disease, hunt bounties, trade, explore, or just build the strongest squad possible. It’s a huge sandbox where you make your own path in space.
