Lead them into battle and watch them transform into the mighty Vildra. You’ll carve a path through snow-covered landscapes in five new Conquest maps, commanding powerful new Wielders like the shapeshifting Gorm Aelgrim and Jarn Steadfast, the man who refuses to embrace change.

This faction Introducing a new snowy biome filled with ice, ruins, and plenty of new challenges. You’ll have 8 new troops to control, each with fresh traits and abilities. Upgrading your Vanir troops will drastically change them, both in function and appearance. There are 9 Wielders to play with, each with their own unique specializations. Plus, the Vanir come with new buildings in their towns and settlements, plus access to Essence of Destruction, Arcana, and Chaos.

The Vanir are not just another faction—they’ve got some serious rage behind them. Once a humble folk descended from Barya and Arleon, they’ve turned the tables and now raid their former masters. But life in the Bleak East is harsh, and a dark force called the Roots has pushed the Vanir to embrace their wild side, transforming into the terrifying Vildra. The Vildra power give’s the Vanir the ability to morph into fierce beasts. Huskarl soldiers become Korphans, replacing their spears with claws and beaks as they dive into enemy ranks. The Berserkir can unleash their fury, To bend into a massive bear to crush their foes. Even the Chieftains grow into mythic Jormrs, towering over the battlefield.

The Vanir also bring some wild creature’s to the fight, like Trolls, Lykt, Bacahorses, and Nornors—all eager to rip apart anyone who stands in their way. But as a Vanir leader, you’ll have to decide: Will you stick to humanity or let your people embrace their savage side and become beasts of legend?

And the new Bleak East biome is just as tough as the name suggests. Snow, ice and forests stretch for miles. Explore caverns, Naked riches and conquer the land however you choose. You’ve got five new Conquest maps to take on, including two small, two medium, and one large map, all tailored for the Vanir. Whether you’re defending your home from the houses of Barya, raiding the weakened Arleon shores, or trudging through the marshes of the Rana, you’ll have your hands full.

To really test your skills, two new Challenge maps are also included. Take control of Sorg, a lost Troll just trying to find his way home, or battle against the Vildra’s corruption as Jarn Steadfast, the one who refused to change. Ready to lead the Vanir to victory?
