OVERVIEW OF MAJOGAMI
Majogami throws you into a dark, twisted papercraft world where one girl literally cuts gods like paper. You play as Shiroha, a girl who’s lost her memory, traveling with her dad — who, yeah, has been turned into paper. With her katana Kamikiri, she slices her way through a bizarre world filled with creepy “Craft Witches” that rule over everything.
The game is packed with over 35 action stages full Japanese voice acting and a massive story with more than 8 hours of dialogue. You will meet a wild cast of characters, face 13 unique bosses and unlock new powers as you progress. Shiroha can transform into 7 different fighting forms, collect magical charms and find scrolls that unlock new abilities and battle techniques.
Combat is fast, clean, and flashy — with her Setsuna ability, Shiroha can attack and move instantly, chaining slices together like it’s second nature. Timing is everything. Every boss fight is a test of skill and style with full-screen animations that make every moment feel epic. And yeah, you can even climb online leaderboards in over 30 challenge missions to show off your skills.
The story’s surprisingly emotional — as Shiroha defeats each Majogami, she regains bits of her lost memories and gets closer to the truth about herself, her dad, and the cursed world they’re trapped in.
With artwork by Yuji Natsume (the guy behind Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and Blaster Master Zero), the game’s papercraft world looks insanely good — dark, layered, and beautifully hand-drawn. It’s a mix of action, emotion, and pure style — all wrapped in one seriously awesome 2D adventure.
