Broken Lens is a chill game where you will uncover the story of a little robot with a sight problem. Inspired by the classic “spot the differences” game from our childhood, Broken Lens revamps the experience with a fresh exploration system.
You’ll move your point of view and zoom in to explore artworks, spotting and eliminating differences between your robot’s two visual sensors. Take your time and pay close attention to every detail—anomalies can be anywhere!
As you explore you will collect lost pages scattered across different biomes revealing more about this world. It is a relaxing and wholesome experience where you can travel through adorable environments at your own pace uncovering hidden pages and investigating to help the little robot understand its background. The game features a rich and unbelievably lovely universe perfect for escape to a peaceful world. With a smooth exploration system and various worlds to explore it offers a unique and immersive experience.
Team RUN, a tiny team of French indie devs, created Broken Lens. EncreMecanique, known as a tattoo artist, took on the role of graphic designer, hand-drawing every element. Hephep, the game developer, crafted a new exploration system and smooth gameplay.
Malyss, the narrative designer, added a special touch to the robot Is story. Welrod, the sound designer, ensured perfect immersion with polished details.
Yomoeh the music composer, created captivating music and soundscapes for an enchanting experience. And finally Mellyfroggy, the social media manager, is the voice of the team on various platforms.
