OVERVIEW OF RESURRECTION OF MIND

Alright, so the game’s set on Earth way in the future, where things are looking pretty grim thanks to a threat from way back. Turns out, a super-smart ancient race called “The Firstborn” owned this world before humans even existed.

Millions of years ago, a meteorite hit Earth, wiping out 90% of life and making the place almost unlivable. To survive, these Firstborn went into hibernation, putting their whole city to sleep for the future.

Now, we’ve got Kirk Hussl, a former Special Forces guy turned thief. He gets a mysterious job to find a cool artifact hidden in the ocean. He heads to the spot and finds this weird crystal. But when he tries to grab it with his bathyscaphe’s manipulator, it triggers an explosion.

Then there is Zendaya, a young adventurer with a thing for ancient artifacts. She is smart, green eyed, and always on the hunt for valuable treasures. She hears about the Firstborn’s city that popped up at the ruins of Wilmington and decides to check it out, hoping to score some priceless finds.

Yoko, an archeology student, is also on the scene. He is Investigating the cataclysm that wiped out everything he cared about. He’s a bit of a nerd, kinda naive, but he’s driven by a need to uncover the truth and revisit his destroyed home.

Meanwhile, the Firstborn’s city, Gentem, has risen from the depths and taken to the skies, causing massive destruction on the US east coast. This happens because one of their life support system batteries fails.

Wilmington is in ruins, with many dead and the survivors left homeless. Gentem now sits on top of these ruins, and the Firstborn start terraforming Earth to suit their needs, which could mean the end of humanity.

Kirk manages to escape from prison and hides in the ruins of Wilmington. Yoko is sent to investigate the disaster, while Zendaya explores the newly emerged city. Fate brings these three together, and they uncover the Firstborn is plans. Now, it is up to them to try and stop the Firstborn and save humanity.
