OVERVIEW OF PEOPLE OF NOTE
This game is a pretty unique turn-based RPG where music is literally everything. You play as Cadence, a pop singer trying to make it big, but after getting rejected from a major song contest, she realizes going solo isn’t gonna cut it. So she sets out on a journey to build a band and prove herself.
As you travel through different places, like a rock city and even an EDM-themed city, you meet all kinds of musicians and add them to your team. Each one brings their own vibe and style, which actually matters in both the story and gameplay. But while you’re chasing fame, there’s also something bigger going on—some weird event is messing up the world’s musical energy, and now it’s up to you and your crew to fix it.
Combat is where things get really interesting. It’s turn-based, but mixed with rhythm gameplay. You have to time your attacks with the beat of the music to do more damage, so it feels like you’re actually performing during fights instead of just picking moves.
