After picking up an SOS signal from the research base “Vostok,” a fearless polar explorer from the “Mirny” station sets out across the frozen wasteland to find out what went wrong. But once he gets there, things don’t add up.
The doors are sealed, the radios are silent, and the crew has completely vanished. In The Black Ice, you will have to dig deep into the base’s dark secrets, face terrifying threats and somehow hold onto your sanity in the process.
The name The Black Ice comes from a rare natural phenomenon buried deep down the Antarctic surface. It is this strange, jet-black ice that scientists believe formed under insane conditions. What makes it so dark? Possibly particles from space — like meteorite dust or alien material that’s been trapped in the glaciers for millions of years. Yeah, it’s as creepy as it sounds.
