This game is a fast-paced retro-style 3D shooter that is basically a big love letter to those old-school arcade classics from the ‘80s and ‘90s. You play as ASURA, a humanoid combat weapon built for one mission — wipe out an alien invasion coming straight from space. You’re not just running and gunning though — you get insane high-speed shooting, brutal melee attacks, and even this sick time-slowing mechanic that lets you control the chaos around you. You’ve got some crazy moves at your fingertips too. The Shining Knuckle is like this mega-charged punch that absolutely wrecks anything in your way, and the Lightning Over Drive slows time down so you can totally own the battlefield. You’ll be wiping out massive waves of alien creeps, pulling off clutch slow-motion escapes, and blasting huge bosses into the next galaxy.

The controls are super straightforward. You move with the left stick or D-pad — and you can even set it so the stick either snaps back to center or stays put, depending on how you like it. You fire with the shot button, charge up your Shining Knuckle by holding the punch button and letting it rip, and slow time by hitting the slow button (just watch your energy gauge).

Also, LeftOver — the indie label behind the game — is literally just two people. Yeah, everything from the planning, programming, art, sound — all of it was done by just two devs. They’re taking their time to make this game something really special, so any support, wishlist adds, or hype you throw their way seriously means a lot.

Heads-up though: if you’re rocking a monitor that runs higher than 60Hz, the game might act weird — like running too fast or too slow. If that happens, just turn off vertical sync (vSync) in the settings and you should be good.
