Basically, it is like chess mixed with an RPG.

You can also find loot as you go—gold, potions, weapons, you name it. You will need to equip your pieces with better gear to boost their damage and defense. At the start of every new level, you get to add another chess piece to your squad. Lifting the right units that work well together is key, so you can build crazy harmony and come up with rude combos. But here’s the thing—you gotta keep your army alive while crawling through dungeons. Heal your units with spells and potions, and don’t let them wander into danger. The game only saves after you finish a level, so if one of your pieces dies mid-run, they’re gone for good. And whatever you do, protect your King—if he gets taken out, it’s game over.
