So, who are the Shakturi? They are a creepy alien faction that played a huge role in the last galaxy wide disaster that nearly wiped everything out. These powerful beings Did you travel here from another galaxy and have abilities that are way beyond anything we can grasp. Their return poses a massive threat even to the strongest Kingdoms in the late game and they could easily overwhelm the entire galaxy.

One of the best additions in this expansion is Genetic Engineering. This lets the Shakturi make a brand-new space creature for scouting and combat, plus they can manipulate existing space creatures to suit their needs. Speaking of psychic abilities, the Shakturi are equipped with some next level skill’s that boost their effectiveness in combat, diplomacy, espionage and research. To counter these powers, you will need to come up with some innovative Strategy that can flip the script and turn the Shakturi’s strengths into weaknesses.

All factions now have access to Planet Destroyers and Mega Ships, including those introduced after the game’s initial release. These heavy hitting assets are crucial for taking on the Shakturi with Mega Ships offering unique features like the Quameno Mobile Robotic Troop Foundry.

Plus, there is a new space creature called the Rift Strider, bringing fresh challenge’s and opportunities. You can also set up Outposts on worlds that are not appropriate for full colonialism to help you safe valuable area for future Extension. The Multi-Empire Alliance System introduces new ways for faction’s to work together and Strategizing across empires.
