You’ll be able to recruit monsters from all over the place, mix and match them, and even fuse them together to create brand-new creatures. With over 500 monsters to choose from and a revamped synthesis system, you can totally craft your dream team of cute critters or fearsome villains. The options are pretty much endless.
Your journey to becoming the greatest Monster Wrangler of all time starts now! Psaro’s got a bit of a problem though – he’s cursed and can’t hurt anything with monster blood. So instead of the usual hero route, he’s gotta build an army of monsters to fight for him.
The hunt for the strongest monsters will take Psaro through Nadiria’s changing seasons and wild environments. We are talking rivers of lava, ancient ruins and even towers made of cake! Synthesis is your key to victory – that’s the ability to combine two monsters and make an even stronger one. Every new creation brings psaro closer to his ultimate Purpose: becoming the Master of Monsterkind.
Now, heads up – the Steam® version doesn’t include the real-time Online Battles from the console version, but it’s still packed with awesome stuff. As time passes in Nadiria, the seasons and weather change too, revealing new monsters and hidden areas. Every visit feels like a fresh adventure with different monster’s to recruit. Sometimes, after a battle, a monster might even ask to join your squad. You can then combine them with others to make your dream team.
Plus, the Steam® version includes all the DLC from the console version – Mole Hole, Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym, and Treasure Trunks. These add some additional cool feature’s to help you out on your adventure.
Oh, and don’t forget to register your team for the network mode Quickfire Contests. It’s an automated battle mode where you face off against the party data of 30 other players. You can win stat-boosting items once a day and even recruit monsters from teams you beat (up to rank B).
