Get ready to welcome the dignified Frogs into your settlements! They are not just charming; they come with some serious perks. Their skill’s in stone masonry and comfort with rainwater can really boost your settlements, and they even help new citizens join the fun faster. They’re too proud for basic shelters, so you’ll need to build some fancy, upgradeable Frog Houses just for them. Each of the four upgrade levels packs a punch making it a top priority to keep those Frogs happy—especially when times get tough.
Dive into the new Coastal Grove biome where your settlements will start right on the water, far away from the usual royal envoys and their perks. Instead, you will rely on the Strider Port a unique building for this biome that lets you launch expeditions to hunt for treasures hidden in the water. Each trip only needs a supply of food for the Water Strider and its rider, so the more you invest in supplies, the better your potential loot will be!
Plus, the Smoldering City upgrade tree has some new rewards tailored for the Frog species, including three new Legendary Cornerstones, one new Epic Cornerstone, three new Rare perks, and five new Uncommon perks. You will also have 12 new orders that tap into the Frogs unique abilities pushing you to upgrade their houses, grow their population, and cater to their specific needs.
And don’t forget about the tunes! The game’s getting a fresh soundscape with 14 new tracks that capture the dangers and opportunities of the Coastal Grove biome.
