OVERVIEW OF OVERBOSS
Yo, you’re the Boss here! You’ve always been the big cheese when it comes to controlling monsters, designing dungeons, and taking down heroes. For ages, you have been going head to head with other Bosses proving your skills in wicked contests of power and villainy. But now, it is time to step out of the shadows and shape a whole new land just the way you want it. Time to grab that crown and claim the title of the ultimate OVERBOSS!
In this game, each turn you’re gonna pick a tile and a token set from the Market. Slap that tile onto an open spot on your map, but remember, different terrains score differently! Swamps rack up Power points if they’re next to coasts or other Swamps. Graveyards are where the big points are at if you can collect the most, while Forests grow in Power the more you gather.
Every tile comes with a token. If it’s a monster or Miniboss token, toss it on an open terrain tile. Monsters with matching icons score you extra points, and if you line up two or more monsters in a row, you’ll score even bigger bonuses. You may also be interested in the game Sunset Hills
As you fill up your map, use Portals to move your Monsters and Minibosses around. Scoop up Crystals to amp up your power. With smart placement and clever combos you can build a seriously awesome map. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score gets to flaunt their title as the OVERBOSS!
